LONDON (Mareeg)—Somali president Sheikh Sheikh Ahmed met British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London.
The two leaders have discussed issues about the Somali crises and how Britain would consolidate its support of the Transitional Federal government of Somalia.
Gordon Brown also requested the Somali to help release of the British couple held in Somalia by Somali pirates.
The Somali president is on three day visit in Britain and he also met British foreign minister David Miliband.
Officials travelling with the president said the president is expected to meet large Somali community in London and Birmingham.
